Somerset Parent Carer Forum is a parent led organisation, with all the people leading our working having a child or young person between birth to 25 years with additional needs and/or disabilities.

We have been working across Somerset and beyond since 2011, committed to advancing education, awareness, and inclusivity for individuals on the autism spectrum, as we strive to create a world where every mind is understood, embraced, and empowered.

ESCAPE Support Group
Escape Support Group aims to provide support for families in Somerset raising children who have disabilities or additional needs, through organising a wide range of fun activities, days out & occasional short break holidays. Our events boost morale, increase confidence, improve social skills as well as develop & strengthen friendships.

An Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
In receipt of Disability Living Allowance (DLA) / PIP
You can refer to the Community Inclusion and Activity Team for time-limited support for your family to help with information, advice and signposting and possible funding to help you to access local opportunities.
