I remember the day like it was yesterday. Taking my, then undiagnosed son to his usual hairdresser to find an immediate shift. Nothing was working. Communication was failing and senses were heightened. This was just another thing to add to my ever growing list of things/ situations/ events my child could no longer cope with  (or I for that matter)

Lucky for us my sons hairdresser was equipped with the knowledge and resources to manage the situation and we left in one piece. The fight got worse but has  remained manageable. I wanted to create  a space where you could find local hairdressers who have worked well with neuro divergent children in the hope that one may be the right fit for you and your family.
