Charities and Trusts provide funding towards the high cost of disability equipment, holidays, housing, days out.........in fact anything above and beyond the normal costs of everyday living.
A personal recommendation form me would be Family Fund ( up to £500 every 2 years) and Newlife. Newlife provide a pod based on your child's needs which you can use free of charge for 12 weeks. You then return. You are able to order back to back anda max of two pods at a time. A great way to try out toys and equipment before you buy x
Family Fund
Family Fund deliver grants for families raising a disabled or seriously ill child or young people on a low income across the UK.
Newlife
Every day, Newlife is changing the lives of disabled and terminally ill children across the UK. We provide thousands of items of equipment.
AFK
AFK supports disabled children and young people by providing mobility equipment, employment support, training and promoting self-advocacy.
Caudwell Children
Caudwell Children provides a wide range of specialist mobility equipment and sensory equipment for disabled and autistic children/young people.
Boparan charity
We work directly with families providing financial grants for key items that assist the children. In addition to providing grants for specialist equipment, we also donate money towards therapies.
Able Kidz
Able Kidz is an educational trust that supports disabled children and young people (under 18 years) in the UK with their education and learning.
It provides specialist equipment, computers, software and extra tuition to enable them to achieve independence and self reliance.
Buttle UK
Buttle UK helps children and young people in crisis, living in financial hardship and dealing with challenging social issues across the UK.
CHIPS
CHIPS provides wheelchairs for children who would otherwise have no way of getting around on their own. CHIPS funds the wheelchairs that the NHS cannot or will not provide and that the parents cannot afford to buy.

REMAP’s mission is to improve the quality of life for people who experience short or long-term disability through infirmity, illness, or ageing. We do this by making and adapting equipment to meet the unique needs of individuals at no cost to them.
